Dekalb Leagues on Friday at 5:00

So I met the local guy that runs NIU club.  He is doing leagues on Fridays at 4:00 if anyone is interested.  The course is kinda easy but has a few fun holes.  I am sure there alot of rec players and a few decent players here.  Just throwing it out there if anyone is bored on a Friday afternoon....

So not to bad of a turn out for first time dubs.  We had 12 people come out.  The ace pot was started at $7.00.  Winning scores were 12 down by myself and club local Mike.  I also hit number 3 for an ace and quickly emptied the $7.00 ace fund.  Kirkland is starting their dubs on Sunday at 3:00 pm....

Another 12 in attendance tonight.  -10 takes it shot by myself and local player Dave, I took a 4 stroke handicap to make it a bit more equal.  $40 to 1st and $20 to second who shot a -5.

We moved the time to 5:00pm.  The ace pool is at about $150.00.  Plenty of holes to ace.  We have 3 extra baskets out for a total of 24 holes.  I am off tomorrow so if anyone wants to do a preround let me know.  We have been getting about 12-16 people on average. $5 to pot $2 to ctp's and $1 acepot=$8bucks.  Beer and pizza afterwards ($15 gets two domestic pitchers and a large pie)....J

88 west.  Take Annie Glidden exit go north to W Lincoln Highway/38 turn right/east go to Pearl street turn right/south (Tom and Jerrys is right there on the corner and they have an awesome gyro special for $5).  This road dead ends turn right and the park will be on your left....

Leagues tonight @ 5:00.  Ace pool at $150.  3 more holes added again for 12 holes played twice for a total of 24.  Give me a call if interested.  Does anyone know how to change the subject on this forum?  When we first started we were playing at 4:00 due to the sunlight.  We changed it to 5:oo know but I don't see anywhere to change the subject.

The ace pot is open to everyone, like most places...hint hint.  We had 21 players last Friday.  Come on out and try to snatch up over $300 this Friday.  We do do beers and pizza afterwards if anyone is interested.  We normally have a few extra holes and play 20-22 holes.  Cya Friday!!!

Pretty sure our ace fund will be completely open for everyone at the start of Fall/Winter leagues. The concrete is pretty close to being paid for I do believe. Everything will go back to normal. Besides a few people being upset about the whole thing, Eagle Ridge did benefit and it was the right thing to do for the future of disc golf at Eagle Ridge! Would like to make it out to Dekalb this Friday but playing in Iowa. Maybe next Friday Jason. I want some of that beer you make too!!!
