Bald Eagle

New brooms hung on every hole with care.  Be kind and gentle with the sticks with hair.  Paid a dollar for the implements to clean.  Hopefully they will help keep the beautiful sheen.

Tell a friend about the Club, hand out a disc to a Father or Son.  Until we get everyone throwing our job is not Done.  Blaine

just heard this morning at 6am that our nephew (he's 10) had a accident (jumping a ramp on his bike) that broke his jaw, some teeth & landed him in Childrens memorial hospital.  There is a bright side to this story (the kid has perfect timing) - see the note from my sister-in-law below....

Crystal Schepp Tomorrow they are going to put him under & fix the teeth or pull them then wire his jaw for the next two weeks. He is very excited because they are bringing in the Stanley cup tomorrow & his doctor has cleared him to take a wheelchair ride to go get his picture taken with it.

Very Cute!  This explains everything…..

On the first day, God created the dog and said, "Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past.  For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years."

The dog said, "That's a long time to be barking.  How about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?"

So God agreed......

On the second day, God created the monkey and said, "Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh.  For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span."

The monkey said, "Monkey tricks for twenty years?  That's a pretty long time to perform.    How about I give you back ten like the dog did?"

So God agreed......
On the third day, God created the cow and said, "You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family.  For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years."

The cow said, "That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years.  How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?"

And God agreed again......

On the fourth day, God created humans and said, "Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life.  For this, I'll give you twenty years."

But the human said, "Only twenty years?  Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?"

"Okay," said God.  "You asked for it."

So that is why for our first twenty years, we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves.  For the next forty years, we slave in the sun to support our family.  For the next ten years, we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren.  And for the last ten years, we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.

Life has now been explained to you.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information.  I'm doing it as a public service.

Blaine is in Seattle, Washington all week (home on Saturday).  He took a few disc with him & found out Tuesday night that there was a course 3 miles from his hotel.  He planned on going out Wednesday night hopeing there would be some people to play with.  Guess what he got?  He was just in time to join random doubles!  He also paid into some raffle they were doing & won some special disc that all the other golfers were crazy over (I don't remember what he said it was).  That was one lucky night!

I love our disc golf family & love to walk with Blaine & watch him play.  I also love being in bed at 10pm so if I'm going to be outside at 10pm I better see a lot of my FVMDG out there with us during this glow round tonight at Eagle ridge.

This time I'm not walking ahead to watch for disc (it's scary being in the woods alone -lephercons might get me ; ).  What is even worse is my spelling of the little keepers of gold!

First I would like to Thank all that wrote such kind notes.  This is the reason I enjoy my Fox Valley Family so much.  Secondonly I want to encourage everyone to post when they are heading out to play.  Today we gathered Five and Rev Rick was in the mix.  Never had the chance to play with Rick but Christie and I have spoken to Rick and Laura several times at the Jericho course which is they're stompping ground.  Point is that the Fox Valley family will show up and you have this cool tool to never shoot alone again.  Please use this tool, enjoy and tell a friend about this great game of discgolf. Blaine your friendly disc golfer.

Working on the back hand in the back yard with Dahlton and I do believe I found yet another Gear.  Can't wait to test it on the Eagle Ridge.  Blaine

Found a disc in the back yard called a Viking.  Champ plastic and I like it alot.  Have a good snap on this disc and realy like the flight.  Does anyone know how a beat up Viking should fly.  The flight pattern I am getting is a straight long flight with a sharp hook at it's end?  Dahlton tells me this is an old school disc?  Blaine

This shows the flight path of most discs, as things they get more understable in all ways in my understanding so there you go.  I found a beat champ viking a few weeks ago, Ill bring it for trade tomorrow.
