Is a $164 ace pot worth getting wet for? How about a 15 pound turkey? Take a chance Sunday at the Eagle. 9:00am start.

Another beautiful day out on the course. Club Metro will be ready for windy conditions this spring due to all this extreme wind training we've been getting in. Another great turnout with lot's of GOLD Tags baby! Weather conditions at tee off , 39deg with a wind chill of 32deg winds varied from 10 to 20 mph with crazy gusts of 40mph, this seems to be a theme lately. Almanac: record high 66deg (1975) record low -9deg (1901) average high 35 deg and average low 21deg Sunset 4:21pm Player Score Begin Tag End TagGame Results: Aaron Scott -4 15 1 Blaine Schepp 4 13 4 Mike Kutella 4 56 13 Larry Leonardi 5 22 15 Randy Moore Sr. 6 4 18 Todd Florence 7 19 19 Erik Henrickson 7 23 22 Benton Lindquist 8 42 23 Mark Slyvester 10 1 42 Zac Montrose 12 18 54 Wes Lindquist 15 54 56 Tim Green 16 62 62 $11 dollars added to the ace pot which stands at $175.00. Benton Lindquist took home a 15 pound turkey for CTP hole #2. Blaine Schepp had another lucky shot for CTP on 19 to win the coolest clock donated by Mr. Mike Kutella ( Thanks Bro, Dahlton loved it! ). Lastly I let Aaron win the Blind birdie throw down since he threw so badly today. In closing great bunch out there today and be kind to our brothers and sisters in disc. Who's the whimp and who's the whiner or who's both? Free CTP today donated by Aaron Scott. (Raffle ticket) Ace pot is huge. Don't be afraid it's only the cold. Should be fun. [It's Snowing]

I've done the sub-zero thing once. I played Streamwood with about 8 other nutjobs like myself. I think 6 of us finished. Winds were similar if not harder. It's cool to say "yup, been there, done that", but once for me was more than enough lol.
With these current weather trends I might be out buying a propane heater for the frozen solid merch man at the ice bowl while all of you are out keeping warm by throwing plastic!

I played with the Esquivels for a couple years (probably 5 times a week), and they were out there in the worst of it. Ron (Miller) too. I have a great movie clip of Roger going into Jericho Lake to retrieve a disc in unbelieveably cold water. I think he even rolled up is pants legs before he went in. It was crazy.

Yer all a bunch of lightweights. It was like -30 windchill and solid iced fairways, drives and puts would slide farther than they would fly. It was insanity.
All the top 10 staying indoors afraid to loose to the skilled players hitting the course in any conditions. Like Randy he's a true disc golf warrior.
I am looking for tag games anywhere in chicago to rockford for tags (joliet is too far a drive for me) today, tomorrow (Friday), or Saturday. I have some friends with tags 7 and 16 willing to play also.
Call me at 847 826 3302 or txt me if you want to play and have a wild time. Supposed to be WARM and sloppy tomorrow. SOunds like a good combination.
I also have alot of discs for trade: CE Valk, CE Fx, Champion rocs, dbl stamped, spectator, 2008 usdg bagged, etc, old 1.1 - 1.5 omega AP's and lots of other rare stuff. I have old 1988 stamped discs from PFC, historic IL discs, hammers, ace, hands putter, football roc, etc. If you want to trade old stuff contact me as I am looking for more stuff to throw with or stockpile for when I use out what's in my bag or god forbid nature reclaims one and they get lost.

Come out to Eagle Ridge tomorrow Mike. Starting at 10:30 we will be playing league singles. $5 to get in and optional ctps and ace. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd take the money. We also play for tags. The weather is supposed to be rainy with the temperature around 60. It will be extremely sloppy. The elements will play a big part, but personally, i love the elements! Bring your friends. Bring your rain gear. PEACE

The weather at TEE off includes; temperatures of 29 deg and climbing wind speeds at 26 mph from the west.Wind chill earlier in the round was 19 deg and climbed. The Sun was shining after first few holes and the EAGLES were flying over the course all day, how beautiful. The EAGLES were awesome; and there was a pair that were soaring over the woods majestically with bright white tails and heads, probably ranks as one of the most gorgeous sites as far as scenery goes. I had fun, and yes I cheered way too loudly/often throughout the round. I will tone it down next week (NOT)! Pad conditions are still hairy folks and lot's of no approach shots required off the tee boxes today.
Almanac: Record High 69deg (1984) Record Low (1924) Avg high 31deg Avg low 17deg Sunset at 4:28 pm
