Jeff will be enjoying 2 days of Illinois A-tier excitement courtesy of 1000rated.com and the entire staff of the 2008 Illinois Open. Congratulations Jeff, and have a blast. We encourage the rest of you to sign up for the event by going to www.illinoisopenseries.comThe raffle was open to players of all divisions and ran from Monday evening (August 18th) 2008 until Thursday August 21st 2008 at midnight EST. The Illinois Open is a 2 day tournament that will take place on September 6th and 7th, 2008 - Over $1800 has been raised so far for the pro purse. Three courses on site at Anna Page will be used including the existing East and West courses plus a temporary course for the weekend. Players will be divided into pools based on division. Each pool plays two rounds on Saturday and two additional rounds on Sunday. Part of Discontinuum disc golf club's annual IOS series, The Illinois Open promises to be an exciting event for all. Just a reminder to play Rockford you must be a PDGA member. Wait until Sept 1st if you planto join.
Joining after September 1st, memberships are extended through the following year. So you get 4 months in 08 and all of 09 as a PDGA member. This also goes for those renewing that have not been current in the past 5+ years.

There are course maps of all three courses, including the temp course, on discontinuum's site. Looks like some of the holes used for last year's IOS on the other other courses are going to be used this year for the temp course. |

I can't remember. Knowing Brett and the way he lays out courses, it's going to be a fun but very challenging course! |

FYI There are NO Saturday registrations. Either do a pre-reg online or via the USPS or show up on Friday to register.
