With only 2 weeks left in league play it is interesting to see that there were 119 different players that played the Spring/Summer league this year. 31 different players in Pro division and 88 different Ams players. 5 aces were hit, 1 washout by a storm, and a round in downpouring rain. Randy Moore Jr. and Blaine Schepp will clinch first place in their divisions next week by just showing up. Randy Jr. has 6 first place finishes with 8 seconds and 5 thirds. Blaine Schepp has 2 firsts, 6 seconds and 6 thirds.

At Streamwood doubles they charge 1 extra dollar to play if you arent a club member. I personally think that is a great idea because it gives the club members a extra perk for their money and would also increase memberships. $15 is not alot of money to pay for a membership considering the tag and mini you get accounts for $5 of that. Then you would also get a $5 discount on your PDGA#. The other $5 goes for course upkeep, tee signs, league supplies...etc.. This great game would not be where it is today without people donating back to this game! Whether it's getting a PDGA#, a club membership, donating your time to help in any matter like leagues, tournaments, or course upkeep, that is what makes this game grow. Any thoughts on that extra dollar being implemented in our league play?

If we do so, I would recommend starting it with the change to Sat winter league.

I wanted to implement something like this at Disc Golf Alley leagues, but because of the lack of turnout and stuff I'm not pressing the issue.
You'll get some people to complain, but I think that it's a great way to promote people to join the club and it's just an added perk to members while helping the club funds - every bit counts!
