Last week of winter doubles at Eagle Ridge

Glacier golf is just about over.  Saturday March 1st at 12 noon will be the last weekend doubles contest. It will be at Eagle Ridge. Congrats to Ray Esquivel for claiming 1st place, Marcos Esquivel for 2nd place and Tim Pannell for third place. The ace pot stands at 96$ so come and get it! The weather looks like it should be nice. FVMDGC hopes everyone can make it out there to have some fun.

Another awesome turnout at beautiful Eagle Ridge. 28 golfers came to share the day with the deer, wild turkeys, eagles, and hawks. 3 groups came in with a very good -11. They were Marcos Esquivel and Jason Poole, Randy Moore Jr and Jessie Esquivel, John Knudson and Steve Schlack.  During sudden death Marcos Esquivel and Jason Poole could not manage to birdie on hole #1, so they went home with third place.  The other two groups went all the way to hole 3 when Randy Jr almost skipped in for an Ace with his disc landing 35 feet past the basket.  John Knudson threw an awesome shot parking it right under the basket.  Jessie Esquivel hit the chains, but it bounced out on his putt and Randy Jr hit the top of the basket bouncing out to solidify 1st place for Steve Schlack and John Knudson. $27 was added  to the Ace Fund, first Ace pot is capped at $100.00, second Ace pot is now at $23.00.
$20.00 was added to the course improvement fund which stands at $35.00. 
Thanks for coming out everyone.  FVMDGC hopes to have the Spring Doubles Schedule out soon. Any input on that would be appreciated.
