Hope everyone is planning on coming out and playing on the new concrete tees and baskets! Baskets will be switched to different pin positions on multiple holes between rounds!

Bunch of things: 1) Parking - on SATURDAY, please try to park across the street at Grace Lutheran Church. There is a basketball tournament at the community center, and we'd like to make spots available for those using that building. On SUNDAY we have permission to park at the public works buildng (further north on bartlett rd just past hole 2). You can also park on the other side of the park if you are starting over on that side on Oltendorf. I think one side of the street you cannot park on, but the other was ok.
2) Bathrooms - I have confirmed that we WILL have a porta-potty available for the weekend. In addition, since the community center will be open from 9-4 Saturday, bathrooms inside there will also be available.
3) Concessions - It looks like concessions will be open during the lunch break AND after the round. So definitely enjoy the great prices and help support!
4) I have received confirmation on a LOT of verbal commitments of players that will be coming out to play. I know that a lot of people are not pre-registering because there is no walk-up fee. So don't be discouraged by the low pre-reg numbers, the turnout is going to be great!

Good shooting Underdog! Those new baskets and tee boxes sweeten up Shady Oaks a bunch. That tournament should be a sweet one this weekend!

I've been told that the new tee signs are now in, they are working on painting 10 M circles today, and they are also doing whatever course clean-up that they can. It should make for a fantastic weekend. I hope to see everyone out there!

it is definitely a lot of work to get those lines done! It's even more difficult when about 10 of the pins have an alternate location for the 2nd round as well.
It's going to be a great weekend!

Sunday scores are now posted: http://www.pdga.com/tournament-results?TournID=10893&year=2010&include_ratings=1I'm glad that we were able to make this a very successful event for the Baker Family! They really would like to continue to see these tournaments happen, and I made a couple suggestions (especially moving it earlier in the year before people go back to college to try to draw more attendance). They are going to try to get out to the Homie to see how that family does it. I hope that the memory of Doug can continue to live on!
