One Disc Tourney?!

Just came across the idea, since I've played golf all my life, of a one disc tournament.  I do one for ball golf every year the day after thanksgiving and all you can use is one disc and a putter, maybe we could set something up similar???

We did this last year a few times, usually got about 5 people showing up.  It was more for fun, no money but tags were on the line.  Joe Pearson nearly had mine one day as he was hot and then he ended up making a couple errant shots allowing me to tie up and keep my tag.

Everyone that came out seemed to enjoy it.

I would really like to set this up if we could get a bunch of people interested.  Maybe have a little entry fee and top 3 singles pay out or something.  Me and kyle were talking about it I'll ask around too

I would like to float another idea here maybe take this idea a step further.  I also have to be honest, its not my idea, Im stealing it from some friends in Peoria.

Fundraiser one disc tourny.

buy in $5
ace $1

50/50 payout to top whatever
other 50% goes to concrete
ace fund is only good for that day, if no ace is hit 50/50 throw off at the end of the night, other half goes to concrete.
could also throw in some ctp's etc for $1 each, money to go to concrete

This doesn't have to be used for the one disc tourny, its a format that could work well in many area's.  I am just throwing it out there.
