ICE BOWL 2010 - Date set for Saturday the 13th of February. Now that the date is set, fliers will become available shortly with the Hesed House's tax info for donation purposes. With this info, it should be much easier to get places to sponsor our event. PLESE TAKE ONE TO YOUR PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AND ASK THEM TO BE A SPONSOR!!! This is a tax write off for them and if you ask they probably will. There is nothing to lose by doing so!!! Event will be run the same as the past three years. 1 round of singles followed by seeded doubles. Idea to have the club donate 10% of all memberships for this event from now on. Idea tabled to get more feedback. More info to follow.

Can't wait to throw in my first one! I really want an ice bowl disc for Jericho, is there enough turn out to even think about an idea like that? If it was a Roc I would probably get a few!

there will be Ice Bowl discs, but I don't know what models will be available with the official "Ice Bowl" stamp.

Just confirmed that the cool people at my office will help run a food drive with all of the food going towards the Aurora Food Pantry and Hesed House as part of the tournament. Yay! It will start probably in the new year (we're doing another food drive right now for a place in Carol Stream)
