This Saturday 10-03 at 9am there will be random doubles at Eagle Ridge. This is not sponsored by FVMDGC so the ace pot will be starting at $0.
$1 for the ace pot entry. If no one aces a hole there will be a ctp on hole #1 for everyone who got in.
There will only be one division. One round. We will play the odd holes from the shorts and the even holes from the longs. Rain would be shorts only.
It will be $10 to play, and 1 50/50 ctp for $5 (mandatory). Half the money from this $5 ctp will go towards Eagle Ridge concrete longs.
Payouts will be 100%. Would like to pay out top one third of field depending on turnout.
There will be a free putting contest and a Throw for the pies for prizes afterwards too.
There is a doubles tournament in Lockport on this day but I thought we could get enough locals to play in this one for the concrete!

                 The Bakers Square in the area has closed so we will be using prizes instead of pies for the 'Throw For Pies.'

                                                        So far we have 4 new different discs for prizes.

Just to let everyone know, I am running this doubles tournament just for the idea of raising money for the long concrete tees at Eagle Ridge. No one will be profiting one red cent from this tournament, except the long concrete tees! The payouts are 100% except the 50/50 ctp which will be the cause of the tournament.
That is why the ctp is mandatory to play. All the prizes so far are coming out of my pocket. I am hoping some club members can come forward to help make this run smooth with donating some time to help. A little help in anything would be much appreciated! I already measured the longs and I am in the process of making score cards. It's a full day of disc at Eagle Ridge on Saturday October 3rd registration at 9 tee at 10. Handicap league doesn't begin till 10/31 after the first Fall/Winter league doubles.  This is what I've been told by Jason Gordon (I don't know if you spoke with him & he moved his league up?).  So the park should be free all day.  Dahlton has basketball tryouts on the 3rd, so I don't know if we will be able to come.  We probably will be playing in Jim's Friday night tags if you want to get the clipboards, cards, or anything else you might need for this doubles tournament.

Scott added the Handicap league on the 3rd, I can't take it off - It was not on the calendar as of 9/27 (I have a print off for the marquee board at Eagle).  The only thing I can do is post on the calendar anohter event that would say No handicap league.

I know how it is, I have a family get together Saturday night. That's why I couldn't go to the Baraboo trip that was scheduled for this day.  Wish you guys could make it! I hope Dahlton kicks butt!
