HaNdIcAp leagues Thursday @ 5:30

The unfortunate thing for me is that based off your average calculated based on my rating, I've never shot a +5 or better at Oswego, yikes!  Hopefully that will change with the concrete tees.  My personal best is a +7 (previously +9).

I did play in one thursday singles at Oswego and stunk it up - it was the last time we did the singles there:

I didn't make it in time tonight for the leagues to start - but casually I threw a new personal best of a +4, sure does beat the snot out of that +18 that I had last time!  The concrete tees played a SIGNIFICANT role in this as well because I feel a lot more confident teeing from a concrete tee and I'm not as concerned about my knees buckling on an uneven surface.

The course was in fine shape. The park district has all of the new tees dressed up. It was great to play from them. Weather: a little warm, winds: calm.

Jason Gordon had the hot round of 46. Kyle Chapman shot waaaaayy better than his average(60) with a 47 which was an unofficial 993 rated round. Nice shooting!

New Handicaps are up.  Great shooting by Kyle last week way better then his average.  Like we said earlier it will take a few weeks to get the HCs around were they need to be.  We are basing them on the 5 most current scores we have.  Let me know if you would like to see the spread sheet I can email it to you to look at.  Mike is also trying to figure out a way get pdga ratings for the rounds....sweet!  Anyway let me know if you have any questions.  We will be playing the longs, so suck it up and come out and play.  Ace pot is at $47

Mike Krupicka has really been helping out alot with Handicaps.  Actually he has done all the work I have just showed up and ran them.  Anyway I wanted to be able to let Mike have acess to post scores and handicaps.  So instead of sharing my info we just created a generic account which we will share.  Mike will be doing all the math including the handicaps and more in the future. 

Due to the fact we have received so much rain I think it would be in everyone best interest to play shorts tonight.  If it is raining when we start please meet me in the parking lot, same thing if is raining afterwards meet me in the parking lot to figure out everything.

We are also thinking about running handicap leagues in the winter on Saturdays after leagues.  Let me know what everyone thinks of HC after leagues.  I am not sure how much daylight we have left but we may move the league to 5:00 then once it is to dark change it to Saturday.

Anyway suck it up and come out and play tonight.  $7 to play and ace pot is at $47.  I got tag #1 some come out and get it!
