Full Tournament Information and Registration is now online!!!  There's going to be at least 20 holes - there will be more if I can find some helpers to get out some other extra ones - probably similar to what you have seen at an IOS in the past.

So if you're not playing at Worlds, come on out to Aurora August 1st and 2nd!!!

I could use some help getting things running smoothly at this tournament, any FVM help would be greatly appreciated - especially when it comes to the leaderboard, basket set-up/tear-down, setting up the flags for the temp hole tees, and of course the loading and unloading of the big van!

I hope to have a flier ready tomorrow night - once I post it up could someone please post it at Jericho and at Oswego?

I do have the pavilion reserved for both days!

I have a question.....

I got my pdga membership a few months ago, but haven't had a chance to play in a tourney so my i guess i don't have a rating. I know that i can play novice, but i was wondering if i could also play in Rec?

Kenny - you can play in whatever division that you want to if you don't have an established PDGA rating yet.

sure, you can play both days in the two different divisions.  There's certainly no stopping anyone from doing that if they wish :)

Note: If you would like to pre-register via credit card and do not want to pay through Google Checkout, please send me a PM or email.  I can now accept MasterCard, Visa, and (probably) Discover over the phone.  Price would still include the $2 fee.

You will have to run 2 pools. Unless of course the Pros and Advanced don't mind giving a little little edge to the needy!

Yeah or we could do it round by round, (ams competing first round from shorts/pros competing first round from long/everyone together 2nd round when all from longs) I could do the tags for one round at least if needed.

I don't know if there another section on this forum for my question -- but what would I sign up / register as? I just purchased my PDGA membership yesterday and got my number by email..

I'm guessing I would pay to play as a "Intermediate (MA2) - Rating < 935" on Sunday? I don't have a rating or anything since I'm new to the scene.. Or would I be signing up for "Open Men" on Sunday? Also, you only get to play one day?

I'm guessing the top few people will go home with either cash or prizes.. but do they have random like longest drive? Longest Putt? I have never been part of anything like this before, just want to get all my info straight before spending money :)

Looking forward to the event! Just need to make sure I have the weekend free of other plans!!
